Standard coaching is fuelled by the project manager's own resources. Michael's Performance Coaching employs high octane techniques from
Neuro-Linguistic Programming to achieve dramatic change, far more quickly. Performance Coaching is totally focussed on reaching one’s potential at work.
In the first session Michael creates real rapport with the project manager, as the basis for building a working relationship and exploring expectations. For each project manager the baseline is any inputs from their appraisals and performance reviews, together with their Whole Brain® Thinking profile. The profile reveals unique insights into thinking preferences and behaviour, and how people relate to others. This forms the soundest possible foundation for effective Performance Coaching.
Michael’s Performance Coaching is one-to-one confidential. The feedback to Project Directors is the progressive improvement in performance of their project managers and projects. Michael adopts a relaxed, conversational style, whilst engaging in trust, honesty, integrity and frankness. Business performance is at stake, so there is no room for pussyfooting.
Progressive results are best achieved through regular sessions: the duration and frequency are totally flexible.
Michael's approach often identifies further opportunities for personal development such as: Mentoring to resolve career-based issues in real time; Continuing Professional Development, such as training, education or secondment, on an individual or group basis; and the referral of any personal problems to a Therapist, as appropriate.
